Going back to work after a long weekend is always hard. But it’s a little easier when you know you didn’t waste a minute of it. We got to catch up with friends from college who were in town, we went to our favorite all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in Eastchester, and then on Monday we visited Roosevelt Island… perfect President’s Day activity, right?
We took the tram from the Upper East Side to the Island, which was a very cool. Then we got there and weren’t really sure what to do. I Google’d “things to do on Roosevelt Island.” The results, in this order, were:
- View of Queensboro Bridge
- Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park
- Smallpox Hospital
My kind of place.
