If you know me, you know that Halloween is my favorite holiday and always has been. My mom has an album documenting each year of hilariously dark and detailed costumes that my childhood-self chose… a corpse bride, spider girl, the devil, and a creepy “raven lady” – to name a few.
I have the best memories of Halloween growing up. After trick or treating, the neighborhood would gather at my house for homemade chili and a bonfire. My mom loved to host our informal annual party, and the Halloween spirit has definitely been passed down to me.
My mom and I have so much fun planning out all the spooky treats to serve at the annual costume party that I now host at my place (which my mom does basically 100% of the baking for, best to leave it to the expert).
We recently got together with our dear friend Sally of Table & Dish to prepare and photograph a Halloween party tablescape filled with our favorite creepy sweet and savory treats. For a list of what we made and recipes, scroll to the bottom of this post. Boo!
